I would have loved to see that in the show sometime. Have a character open up a sealed door and look out on a vast big empty space where they are about to install another laboratory or something.

Seriously, though, for all the bad press (not the least of which comes from New Jersey natives) we do have some very beautiful areas for beach-going, hiking, etc. We are also still "The Garden State" and especially the southern part the state is still largely agrarian - lots of berry farms. While there are areas in which the phrase "smells like New jersey" do apply, I've been up and down the East and West Coasts, and the only beaches I've found that are CLEARLY superior to NJ's are in Hawai'i.

We're averaging $4.17. Basically, one gallon for me is that same as four days of food (I can eat cheap, and not at McDonalds).

Sucky. It helps to live a few dozen miles from one of the largest refinery complexes in the country.

Oh, and I eat super cheap myself. Cooking is fun.

Same here, Tsu, about being close to refineries/distribution plants. There's a LOT of cracking/tankage going on in central NJ, what with the proximity of New York, Elizabeth, Port Newark, etc. Amerada Hess global HQ is in Perth Amboy, NJ.

Or in the proscess find the remains of a body. That would have been alot spookier than fiding remains inside a warp nacelle. Could have made for a great two or three part murder mystery (something they didn't do nearly enough of in Trek)

Would have been a lot more interesting to do a proper whodunnit like that than the telepathy gibberish we got. You'd have to be careful it didn't turn into Midsomer Murders though - the E-D hasn't got a big enough crew.
