Species which was accepted as a Federation protectorate despite having discovered warp drive only a year previously. [1] In 2376 a member of the Evora species was present os USS Voyager when it visited the Markonian Outpost. How they managed to travel such a distance before they even invented the war drive is a mystery. [2]
