Notes

A common sight in the Federation during the 2200s, these handy ships were not intended for combat of any kind. They carried no weapons and minimal shielding, being used largely as survey ships and cargo carriers. On occasion they would be used to carry passengers, though they were not designed for this as such and would typically hand passengers on to larger, faster vessels when possible. [1]

In 2266 the Antares herself transported Charles Evans to a rendezvous with the Enterprise. The ship was destroyed shortly afterward when Evans used his abilities to remove a warped baffle-plate from their energy pile shield. Evans claimed that it would have exploded anyway. [1]

Curiously described as both a cargo ship and a survey ship in the same episode, the Antares is an intriguing look at the kind of ship that was never seen in the original run of TOS, but which we know must have been around. I've chosen to make the ship unarmed and tried to estimate the sizes as best I can from the model.
