Father to Captain Benjamin Sisko, Joseph owned a restaurant in New Orleans on Earth. He was concerned with the increased security measures instituted by Admiral Leyton in response to the threat of Founder infiltrators, and refused to participate in random blood testing - something which led Ben to believe that Joseph might himself be a Founder. [2] Ben visited his father again when Deep Space Nine fell to the Dominion [3], and Joseph accompanied Ben and Ezri on their journey to locate the Orb of the Prophets. [4]
