Killing all the named GROPOs just felt... I dunno. Not entirely sure how to put it. Over the top a bit?

Re: SF Debris: GROPOS
I kind of liked that. All the way through, I expected that we'd see one or two of the gropos we saw die, and a couple live. I thought the girl would die because girls who have an affair with a main character often do. It really caught me by surprise to see that, apart from Franklin's dad and the Sargeant, they ALL died. One thing I liked about B5 was the way it surprised me so often by doing the unexpected.
Give a man a fire, and you keep him warm for a day. SET a man on fire, and you will keep him warm for the rest of his life...
