Help needed-the Worst of Classic Who?
I'm flying out to Utah in February to see my friend Kathy. Out there one of the things we'll be doing is a Who marathon with some of her friends. Old-school stuff like The Time Warrior, Genesis of the Daleks, the Three Doctors, Remembrance and so forth. But Kathy's not too familiar with old-school Who, and some of those friends of hers have never seen much if any of it. So along with a lot of good... I'd like to show them a little bit of bad.
So, which old-school Who do you consider to be near the bottom? Gotta be McCoy era or before, mind you.

Try Terror of the Vervoids: it's Mel's introduction, and close to her annoying worse.

Oh, I remember that one. Good call, Seafort. Thanks.

The Happiness Patrol. An episode that featured this as a psychopathic robotic killer called "Kandy Man"!:

Ah, yes! And the Margaret Thatcher wannabe/take that. Less an anvil and more a bludgeon to the head.

I quite liked it. The Kandy Man aside it had a surreal Dick Tracy-esque atmosphere and one of McCoy's best scenes.IanKennedy wrote:The Happiness Patrol.
Then again, I also like Six's dress sense.

Not even Six likes his dress sense!

All right, I'm going with Terror of the Vervoids. Should be a good contrast to 'The Time Warrior', methinks.

I was going to agree with Ian and go for The Happiness Patrol.
