You must have missed this bit in our automotive threads - one of the (IMHO) hottest, most underrated cars ever... the 1962 Volvo P1800, made famous in the original BBC series The Saint:

I think it's pretty nice looking, personally. And, that would be cold-rolled steel on wheels, IIRC. It would certainly plow right through any of the plastic-and-carbon fiber electric shavers on wheels they try to pass off as cars today.

The first pic of a white car - with the "ST 1" license plate - is in fact the actual vehicle which Roger Moore drove in the show.
