The point is, I think, not whether the Canuck forces had IR beacons - it is rather the fact that a US pilot killed friendlies due to negligence and then the US attempted to shift blame to those friendlies. I'm all for the US in most matters, but a spade is a spade.

Thank you, that is the issue. If the situation were reversed we'd be calling for the Canucks head too.

If the situation were reversed, Ontario might be the 51st state by now. I would have said Quebec, but you can keep it.
