Now the Romulans are in Sheliek space? I must say, these Romulans are a crafty bunch. They were in Neutrel space, Federation space, possibly in Gorn space, now in Shileik space.

Perhaps I should look out my window and check if they are now in Cardassian space.

*Klingon Ambassador cracks out laughing at the Cardassian statement*

Really... thats it... Thats all your collected brain power can come up with? A bunch of nonsense thrown about because what again??? Go crawl back in your hole where you belong.

Deepcrush wrote:Ah, the Federation position becomes much more clear now. No wonder they felt nervous about the Romulans. They must have learned before we did that not only did the Romulans have cloaks but that their own Gorn allies were supporting the Romulans. These are interesting times indeed.
We find it laughable that the Klingons continue to presume that the cloak was Romulan. All we have is the word of the Klingon ambassador, it is a shame they will not release their evidence so the origin of the device can be confirmed. We can confirm that the cloaking capability was removed from the Imperial starfleet several years ago. Are we providing some aide to the Romulan Remnant? If so, it is only because they have been unjustly accused of an act of interstellar terrorism, seemingly as an excuse to launch a war of conquest. Otherwise, the business dealings of the Gorn/Tholian Hegemony remain the private affairs of the Gorn/Tholian Hegemony. We applaud the Klingon chancellors ability to manipulate circumstances to create a crisis.

It is sad to see how far the Klingon sense of Honor has fallen. In the days when their ambassadors and chancellors still had honor, they would have defended their challenge against us or accepted our word as truth and apologized honorably. Instead, we are greeted with laughs and insults as the ambassador quietly abandons his challenge to my peoples honor.

We extended the Federation our concern because a hostile fleet escaped us and we are greeted with stupidity by your combined peoples. Honor has fallen but it is hardly our problem. If such things are to be your concerns you should by looking in a mirror.

Emperor Martok may have cared for your opinions, Chancellor Kurn does not.

Thank you Ambassador, you make my point for me. Here, I have openly accused the Klingon Leadership and the Ambassador himself of being honorless petaQ. When Honor still mattered to the Empire, regardless of position the person who made such an accusation would be dead where they stood for challenging the honor of a Klingon. Instead, the Ambassador whines about the Federation, too drunk or stupid to give an intelligent reply worthy of an honorable people.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Is that the best you can do! Is that the best insult you and your petty allies can come together for? You've been trying to pick a fight ever since the Romulans fell and for what? Do you feel that much guilt over your actions you must crawl and beg for some form of punishment for your sins?

As we said before, the Gorn have no weight to carry to the Empire considering your own history within our borders. The fall of the Romulan menace is a concern for those who share their border, and those people alone. You are not of these people, so go find your kink elsewhere.

::: General transmission :::

This is a notification to any local power with its eyes scanning the Kem'raa Expanse. Any large scale shifts in the plasma composition will be due to fleet movements. We are currently deploying the fleet to major trouble zones in the east and north areas of the region, in response to the joint zone with the Klingon's and the increasing activity along the Sheliak border.

Do not be alarmed. While you cannot see into our space, you will notice the shifts. The fleet is deploying based on security, not as a prelude to armed conflict.

*Incoming transmission from the Breen Confederacy*

In response to Federation pressure to sanction our allies in the Klingon Empire for their withdrawal from the Non-Proliferation Treaty, the Breen Confederacy has chosen to do the only honorable thing.

We stand with our allies. We are withdrawing from the NPT, effective immediately, and are closing our borders to all vessels of the ISA.

The Coalition is united in all things.

Just another demonstration of the fall of honor in the Khitomer Alliance. No ISA aligned nation has ever withdrawn from the treaty for any reason, nor have wen openly denied to enforce the treaty. If the Klingon Empire and Breen Confederacy will simply resign their commitment to the treaty when it does not suit their political agenda then the treaty is no longer worth the paper it is written on. With the removal of the Confederacy I declare the NPT officially dead.

We have no knowledge of any entity called the "Khitomer Alliance"; the signatories of the Khitomer Accords are known as the Coalition. We can see that the ISA has paid little attention to our merger, beyond your usual political posturing and feeble insults.

Your attempt to fracture the Coalition through the use of vague treaty stipulations has failed.

We speak for the Coalition in saying that we have no desire to wage war against the ISA now, or in the future. However, we will not be pressured or manipulated into letting the genocidal Romulan remnant escape unpunished. Chancellor Kurn has reported our suspicions to this assembly, but the ISA either refuses to listen, or does not care if the perpetrators of the attack on Q'onos continue to plot against the nations of this region.

Don't worry yourselves with them my friends. Those people are only looking for an excuse for war, nothing more. Just ignore them and let them wear out their petty tempers. They'll grow up at some point and look back as this time as all mature races do. Childish days where they mistook themselves as the high and mighty of the galaxy.

This is Admiral Donatra.

I respectfully ask that the Federation News Service bother to actually get at lest some facts before printing a story.
We did not fire on any of our planets from orbit. We used shuttles to strike at Klingon troops. They were aided by our science ships, who used their sensors to identify targets.
The total losses currently among Romulan civilians is no more than 30%. And the majority of those losses are at the hands of Klingon soldiers.

After arriving on our worlds, we have seen the way they were treated. Many were dead before we arrived. There are unconfirmed reports of abuse and torture.
We are liberating our people, and yet, we wonder if it would not be better for them to suffer under the imperial hand.

We have not yet taken a single world. We would have, had the Klingon soldiers not used civilians as shields. Our shuttle pilots will not fire on a group where the Romulans outnumber the Klingons. The soldiers have made this their advantage. They are worse than cowards. They fight, not for honor, but for blood.

We will continue this fight, until every Klingon has been forced out of our space. Then, we will stop, for we do not fight for blood, but for the survival of our people.

*Kurn responds on an open channel, laughing so hard that he spills his bloodwine.*

Yes, it is our fault you attacked our homeworld and killed fifteen billion Klingons. It is our fault you murdered thirty billion of your own people from orbit because their worlds submitted without conflict. AND! It is absolutely our fault that you feel such heavy guilt over your own actions that you feel the need to blame others for your actions, yet again.

*Voice turns to a partly serious tone.*

Understand this little girl, this war will not end until that pack of mass-murdering targs you call a government are brought down to your knees where you belong. We have seen what you have done, not just to us but to your own worlds. This is not what we will allow to exist on our borders. Your leadership is a vile excuse of bullies looking to lash others for your own failings and the Klingon Empire will see this brought its end!
