I'm off to Lanzarote on Sunday for a week, so I wont be around. I've left a parting gift in the Sci-fi babes forum. :happydevil:

I've not been on many this year. We only went for a two week cruise in February, Amsterdam in April, Eastbourne and now Lanzarote. Last year we did the Caribean, South Africa, Spain, Germany, Athens, Devon, California and I'm sure some others. :) It's called being old, and having a joint salary on about $150,000 per year. :angel1:

I'm planning on upgrading my mp3 player from being my Palm T|X to either a Zune 80GB player, or Apple Ipod 120GB, I've had no experience with either, so does anybody have any input. I would like to have more memory but people have said that Zunes are better. They are the same price and it'll take a couple of months to save up for one. But I would like input.

Date night again tonight with my "friend". Off for ice cream, a movie, and an evening at Dave and Busters (an arcade for adults with a dance floor and a full bar, loaded with the lasest video games, for folks who've never heard of one). Be hooking up after work. Can't wait. Then another full day together tomorrow, after a morning volunteer thing I have a local drug treatment center.

The iPod is awesome, I had a friend that was having the same issue and was seriously against the iPod, he didn't like apple for some some reason he was unable to describe. However, he went to a shop and played with the opposition for a while, then he played with my iPod for 10 mins. He now owns an iPod. Honestly, the interface on the iPod is superb, it makes it very simple to get to what you want to here. You can select music by album, artist, play list and all sorts of other things. The newer iPod Nanos have coverflow (you need to see it to understand it). The iPod touch is epic, it is a full blown web browser, email client, games machine, iPod and lots of other things. You do not need a Mac to use an iPod so don't listen to people that tell you that you do.

All I will say is you must try one before you decide what to buy, there's a reason that they have 75% of the market.

QFT.

Got one - love it.

Ian werent you planning on making some apps for the iTouch?

You could make one from DITL where you can look up ship stats ect. A little free one to drum up intrest in the site and maybe your skills so you can make ones to sell latter.
