You did miss the point. Those examples were there to help illustrate a point. Picking up on the illustrations and not the point means you've missed the point!

Okay, then. One of the examples you used wasn't reasonable. You're suggesting that the ship should use all available power for appropriate systems at all times, and there should be no 'reserve', right? Is that your point?

Guys, if I may butt in here, how about we move this to another thread? I doubt we really need the comment thread cluttered up by a debate over a minor thing.

Yes, but not necessarily just energy. 'Compensate' has been used in situations whereby just pumping energy into a system would do nothing, it would need repairs, new parts, etc.Tsukiyumi wrote:Okay, then. Not really. Maybe encounter Kortaga, fail to stop Kortaga but do a lot of damage in the process.

I thought it might be a good idea as far as a crossover. It would be the beggining hint of the possible crossoverTsukiyumi wrote:Isn't that in the Starbolt thread? Agreed - if Kortaga is actually part of the Brotherhood, then he's obvioulsy not involved in the Daystrom battle (due to the fact of where he is in the 'Pride story.)me,myself and I wrote:Well---lets finish this battle before starting another one.

How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
