I hope your stay is...productive. And yes, dont mess with the seniors until you know you can challenge them :P
Does that mean there's .99$ coffee and 1.50$ cheesecake around here?

Welcome, daveeb! Enjoy your stay, and be careful of the senior members. They tend to get cranky if you disagree with them!
Yeah, they also don't see very well, so you might get hit by stray sarcasm at any moment.
What, no one saw fit to warn me, and I dove right it.
Oh, and welcome.

Ah but being burned is the best way to learn not to play with fire.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Yet you still made it to Lt. in no time, Stitch. BTW - I'm digging the Sheliak ship AV.

And thanks Teos, I really enjoyed being barbequed once... or twice :)

Ship: Oberth. No one fires on an Oberth. Klingons used to but that time was an accident.

Mission: Traveling within Federation borders far away from danger. Yes I am a coward.

Oberth ships carrying experimental cloaking devices tend get stuck stuck between a rock and a hard place. :P

Well put sir :)

May I humbly suggest that as the moral in the review for The Pegasus.

Seconded.

If I could actually HAVE a ship, what I'd want is a Raven-class ship, or something very similar. Having a Sovereign or whatever, you need x hundred trained officers to help you run it. I'd like one of those ships where you could veer off into the middle of nowhere and the thing virtually runs itself, for years at a time.

Nowadays I'm leaning towards the Intrepid-class. A capable and durable ship that can take a licking and keep on ticking.
