Sulu is the only one that I do not think that the blend looks like either of them.

What causes the explosion and smoke? I do not recall seeing that in ballistic gel before.

Re: Cool Picture Thread
Just guessing, but the collapse of the void should cause a big spike in pressure/temperature. Might cause some residue in there to ignite?

This is the shorthand but, the link above may have more in-depth discussions about kinetic energy and molecules and stuff.
FOR EVERYONE CONFUSED ABOUT THE EXPLOSION: Rapid air compression, gets incredibly hot, goes boom.

I have watched a lot of gun shows and a lot of gel tests, but I do not recall ever seeing that before.

From Kevin Wisbith:

I created a YouTube series called "A Quick Perspective" in order to give people a real sense of the size of some of the machines, buildings, and animals that have we know. These are all concept images that don't seem appealing enough for a video.
B-2 Bomber
The B-2 Bomber is one of the worlds most advanced and most expensive airplanes in the world. What most people don't realize is how big these things really are. The wingspan of a B-2 is 172 feet which is 12 feet wider than an NFL football field.

Although the Death Star doesn't exist in reality, it's truly the biggest and most bad-ass machine ever conceived. The Death Star's estimated width is around 99 miles across, or around 1/4th the length of Florida.

On the subject of the second image, I remember seeing something similar for the second Death Star - it's about the size of Texas.
