I hope to all that's holy and unholy that this refers to Christmas being in the summertime in New Zealand, and not to some strange fetishism involving smallish flightless birds (or worse, involving small hairy fruit.)

In case the name differs in the US,

Generally, in my neck of the woods we'd call that a solar or solarium, a sunroom, or a Florida room. An enclosed (or "screen") porch would usually not have solid glass walls, in favor of mesh screens - the point being to allow breezes through. Such a screen porch, though, to answer Nutso, would very commonly far exceed 10' by 12'.
