After looking closer and taking a photograph, Yvonne Esquilin and her family they say they clearly saw the Son of God pictured in brown and yellow on the body and wings of a moth that came into their home.
Has the Messiah been spotted on a moth?
That's the claim of a Texas woman who thinks she's seen the image of Jesus on the back of a bug.
Yvonne Esquilin said she was stunned when the imperial moth showed up at her Georgetown home Aug. 28.
At first her family thought it was just a butterfly.
But then, after looking closer and taking a photograph, they say they clearly saw the Son of God pictured in brown and yellow on its body and wings.
"We were just amazed at the size of the moth," she told KXAN. "It didn't dawn on me until I snapped the picture. At first it looked like Jesus, and I still think it looks like Jesus.”
Esquilin, who revealed she'd been praying for signs of hope that her daughter could continue with her degree, said it could be a sign from above.
"God is letting me know good news is coming and to keep the hope," she added.
The moth spent the night inside the family's home before flying away the following morning.

OK, I just want to go on record here and say that the markings on the moth look less like Jesus than they look like some guy standing next to me at every single one of at least 20 Grateful Dead shows.

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.
Well, Khan was quite... prolific. Millions of people do descend from him nowadays.

There is only one way of avoiding the war – that is the overthrow of this society. However, as we are too weak for this task, the war is inevitable. -L. Trotsky, 1939
