Yeah, 'cause in the main timeline we never once saw the E-A again after the Exclesior class was launched, right?Teaos wrote:And the E-Neo is now totally obsolete.

Re: USS Vengeance specifications
In the DS9 days the Miranda was potentially comparable to a PT boat (vs a battleship) in WW2, yet tons of them were used against the Dominion.
Ugh... do not thump the Book of G'Quan...
Re: USS Vengeance specifications
Real-world navies hang onto their previous ships that are outclassed by the new ships all the time.

The Excelsior is somewhat stronger than the E-A, but after the refit it still held its own.Mikey wrote:Yeah, 'cause in the main timeline we never once saw the E-A again after the Exclesior class was launched, right?Teaos wrote:And the E-Neo is now totally obsolete.
The Vengence is almost an orde of magnitude abouve the E-Neo.
You can no longer ask the Ent tp deal with a situation because its the strongest, or fastest, or closest.
The Vengance can get almost anywhere in the Federation in minutes.
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Re: USS Vengeance specifications
OK, then - in WWII, the Iowa-class was the roughest naval SoB that the U.S. made. Yet, we still made PT boats and D-E's too. Same principle applies here.

Not to mention the WW1 Era slow battleships, heavy cruisers and the treaty battleships.

Re: USS Vengeance specifications
So did anyone ever get around to posting the specs on the Dreadnaught Class or Vengeance Class ships?

Neo-E is Constitution Class.
The Vengeance is something entirely new and different. At least that was my impression, I mean they certainly look nothing alike.
Yes, because as i have stated in the first post, those specs WERE of the Enterprise, or Neo-E.
