Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
Well, my reaction to the opening ceremonies so far is exactly the same as my reaction to all opening ceremonies ever - namely, "WTF?!"
Also thought it was interesting to see a commemoration of the WWI KIA... even though the IOC said that they wouldn't sanction any commemoration of the 1972 massacre because they don't want to memorialize bad things.
Finally, looks like Mitt Romney was wrong so far, and his decision to insult our staunchest ally was, in fact, done for no reason at all.

Arrgh! My daughter's game - the first of three scheduled today - was rained out going into the fifth, right after her team completed a 1-2-3 inning in the field and with the bats really talking today. At least she went 2-for-2 with three RBI, and started a couple of 4-3 put-outs.

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

The time even seems to have improved your spelling slightly.

I'd place the credit more with iPhone auto correct than my literary skills. Now all you have to worry about us it correcting my bad spelling to the wrong word.

Probably why I've never cottoned to auto-correct. I try my best to make sure I type somewhat legibly.

Hey fellas, haven't popped on in a while. This is why:
Hope all is well, and everyone's... um, well. You know. Wish me luck. Any day now, this thing's gonna pop outta me.
Her name's Terra Phoenix.

Wow, I would have sworn it was a boy by the way you're carrying. No matter, thoughts and prayers on their way for good health and lots of joy!
