They look like Phyllis Diller,
and walk like Frankenstein.

I might buy after a few weeks when the price drops but I ain't rushing out for it. I've played the first & to be honest it just didn't 'grab' me. Don't know why but i personally didn't care for the story much but its kinda clouded my view of em.

I wouldn't hold my breath on the price drop. Used to games would start downward after a month or two of being out. You could pick up something up four to six months after it's out for $20. Now a days it seems like these titles hold their price far longer with some not coming down until the sequel is released.

Really? I watched the "insider tips" yesterday and the game looks pretty cool, espeically with the dialog based more on the ME series.

It took an hour to download the demo last night, because your supposed to get a special item for the main game if you play the demo.

I fell asleep before I could hit gamestop for the midnight release.....but I damn near called in sick to work today so I could play :P

For me, there was no draw. It didn't hold the dramatic pretence that Oblivion had, nor the elaborate backstory. Graphically, I'd say it was even worse than Oblivion which is soon to hit it's 5th birthday which is a veritable eternity in the IT world.

I think you've hit the nail on the head there, for me anyway. Oblivion was just so much better that any game in that genre will be compared to it by me. i still have my copy of oblivion, I sold Dragon Age Origins after a few months.

That said I think the demo is available free on Xbox marketplace so prob give it a blast see whats changed.

I think there's a very clear reason why Oblivion/KotN/SI are still so popular. They have faults, such as the constantly recycled voices (which Bethesda replicated when doing ST:O). But otherwise, I think its certainly the best in its genre.

It can be either 3rd person or first person (though 1st person works better i think). Good old sword/ axe/ bow & sorcery.
