Oh, man. I just had a look at Britain's Got Talent and....just wow. For those of you who don't know, BGT is an anual competition open to any and all members of the British public to find an act to perform in front of the Queen and the royal family for the Royal Variety Act. I had a look today at the semi-finals and saw the greatest act of all time.

Well I had a fun Memorial day. Me, the wife, and a friend went on our annual ren fair outing, good times. Listened to pirates sing dirty shanties, watched some jousting, played with many a sharp, shiney, and pointy things. And the cleavage, my god the cleavage. There was this one red haired wench at the meat wagon half falling out of her top, with her legs bared to upper thigh...got me elbowed in the ribs by the wife that one did. I am a little annoyed because a serious storm rolled in and drove us out before I found anything I wanted to buy to add to my fair costume. I was hoping to pick up a weapon this year, or some good olde timey boots. Ah well, pirate fest in september should provide an opportunity.

Hmmm... I thought he was going to play "The Bells of St. Mary's" on trained mice.
No need to explain though - we have now got that show ("America's Got Talent) along with "American Idol" and coming soon, "X Factor." I can only assume that the export of these shows to us is the UK's revenge for the colonial troubles.

Sounds good. My holiday weekend was much more sedate. Saturday, took my wife out for steaks for our 11th anniversary. Sunday, met my sister's fam to take my parents out for seafood (had a phenomenal grouper filet)for their 50th (!) anniversary, which also actually occurred on Saturday. Yesterday, cut the lawn then fought the lemmings benny bastards northbound traffic for a bit to get to my bro-in-law's for some barbecuing, beering, swimming, and hot-tubbing.

Well I fly off to Frankfurt in about 9 hours for a month holiday before my next contract.

Uzume and her fiancee came over for the weekend; unfortunately, he had to work through most of it. Uzume and I went to my buddy's house for a crawfish boil, and brewed a pale ale. The rest of the weekend was an enlightening experience... Let's just say I had a profound evening, and if details are requested via PM, they will be provided. :)

I think Aldous Huxley and Jim Morrison could've said it better.

And how about we shoot them, then we get to keep you.

It's pouring cats and dogs outside, well, I could say that for certainty if the rain wasn't so heavy you can't see a yard in front of you.
