Well, this morning I woke up with an odd tingling in my legs and now whenever I walk I start to lose feeling in my legs. It's hopefully nothing too bad, and hopefully in the morning it'll be gone, but I've basically been doing nothing but sitting around.

I don't know if I mentioned this but they figured out that it's Fibro Mialga, which is a nerve disease, and theres nothing that they can do for me. For now there's a doctor in the city who is looking for a coorelation between the Fibro Mialga and a virus that he has found in many patients. But he's nowhere near finding anything in the direction of treatment. So I'm going to be one of his Guinea pigs. The best they can do for me for now is, well, nothing really.

My mom and I will be going down to the city on Monday to get some blood work done. To be sent off to the doctor thats doing the tests. Hopefully I'll be getting some clothes from there, most notably looking for a Fedora, because I just love that hat, haha.

There's no known cure AFAIK for fibromyalgia, but there are prescription palliative medications. From what I understand, the side effects can be fairly severe, so they're probably not for early stages of the disorder.

And thanks for your thoughts. Further scans today showed her gall bladder to only be about 66% operative; but there are no obstructions and the meds to regulate peristalsis seemed to have worked OK - so as long as she can tolerate her breakfast tomorrow she should be discharged.

Yeah, that's why he's looking at this virus as a means to maybe find a cure.

And yes there are drugs to help, but the specialist doesn't want me to take it because I'm working through it so well. I mean I get days like these, but I also get days where I'm perfectly fine.

And today I feel the same, my legs are sore, and now my arm is too, so it's getting worse, for now. Hopefully it'll be better next week.

And Mikey, hope she feels better, and it's good that she's getting better with the meds.

That's what I thought; of course, there are people all of the world walking around without a gall bladder at all. However, according to the internist today, a typical healthy adult's gall bladder runs at a baseline of about 70% operation, so 66% ain't too shabby.

Anyway, she's home now and taking a nap. The pain was due to muscle spasms along the upper small intestine; no idea what caused thm - could be the recent scrip for oxycotin, could be an adjustment to an enlargement fo the jejunum, could be just a random innate fact of her muscular construction. Long term, she's just gonna have an "as necessary" scrip for meds to treat the spasms.
