Deep joy, eh? How are your stocks of candles?

Look on the bright side - you've got your technothingamebob, so you can still keep up with DITL. :P

And in the end, isn't that what truly matters?

Hello again. I dug out from under the snow pile ... Ok, I am a princess, I watched Stitch & his dad shovel snow... That doesn't sound nearly as impressive. The snow is so heavy I can actually walk across it and not sink in it to the ground. Anyway I remembered I have a power cord for my phone that plugs into my car so I am recharging my phone that way and I have a full tank of gas. Tomorrow, since we still may not have power tomorrow, I am planning to go to the library and hopefully check in here more easily then on my phone which has a very small screen. Till then!

oh and Stitches mom got to the mall and bought a ton of candles and I found my battery powered lantern so we have lights, but no heat. Nick and Bob are actually sleeping in the same bed they are so cold.

Man, my little girl threw up in the car after school and is still puking on and off. Sucks to watch this and not be able to do anything.

I know. Mine was home from school with a stomach bug on Thursday. She kept asking me to hold her hair while she hurled. I told her that she reminded me of her mother in college.

sorry about the sick ones. We're in Dutchess county. We don't normally lose power but a transformer blew up. The kids saw the bright flash of light.

We got three feet in two days. We've gotten a total of I think about five feet of snow this winter. Whats bad is that we still have a month to go in our snow season.

Anybody ever see the movie Big Fish? My eyes were damp with manly tears at the end...

Just as long as they were manly tears.

I am at the library and I have 20 minutes of computer time remaining. It wasn't a transformer that blew up, it was a substation and that is not why we lost power. There are alot of trees down, this snow is so heavy you can practically walk across it. I know because we got about 2 feet and I was sinking down about a foot. Of course I got stuck and had to slide across the hood of my car to get out. It was a total accident that I dumped snow on Stitch! :happydevil:

The businesses on the main road near our house had power this morning, but the power company is saying that there may still be people without power to the middle of next week. We are in a main part of town so hopefully we will get ours back quickly. In the meantime, I may never leave the library. Its warm in here.

Talk to you guys later.

Oh did you hear about the earthquake in Chili? This is the last time I am posting complaining about our power problem. Minor inconvience.

What is this snow you people keep talking about?

I think there's some kind of stomach virus going around. Both my varmits got it earlier in the week and they gave it to me.

Yeah, one was going around the northeast last week, and Kendall's girl has it as well.
