Yeah, technically this episode doesn't violate canon, but only because Archer is quite possibly the worst captain and explorer ever. These unknown aliens invade his ship, knock out the crew, start to steal everything (even things of no obvious value), and in the end he just lets them go and then makes no notation about them AT ALL in the ship's logs or computer?
