Re: Star Trek Sim discussion
Any insights on the Tholians or Gorn and their place in the world? Or is everyone ok with what I sort of laid out above?

I think you had it about right. Both would be around the same over all fleet strength as the CU Post War. The Gorn with fewer more powerful ships. The Tholians with a large number of smaller ships.

Re: Star Trek Sim discussion
I am going to assume neither has cloaking technology unless someone says otherwise and that both have a pretty basic weapons set. My only question is how to implement the Tholian Web as a technology. I just don't see how it could work against anything but an isolated ship. Other than that I can ammend the map tonight if needed.Deepcrush wrote:I think you had it about right. The web tech was defeated by SF back in TOS. Since it failed to produce results, for the sake of the Sim, you can just leave it out. Neither race (Gorn or Tholian) has cloaking tech.

No neither have cloaking technology. I talked to my frien. He should be getting signed up for the forum tonigh. If not I told him I was going to call him every 30 seconds until it's done

Re: Star Trek Sim discussion
Should we have an "In character" thread? For such things as open meetings and what nots?

If he were still alive, I'd turn him over to you Deep. That way I could be sure he'd be treated right.
Too bad he went down with the ship...

Well with him gone and the Senate in tatters. You really have an open hand to rebuild the RSE in a new image. Its been a rough time for the RSE, but those bad times could be turned into something good.
