Awesome.
Awesome.

Good review for the finale. And he was right. It left us wanting more.

It was the right time for the show to bow out. I particularly liked his idea of an hour glass shaped anomaly in time. That would have been very interesting at least from a theoretical point of view.

Not original, though - it was sort of the central theme of A Brief History of Time.

Aye, it was time for TNG to end at that point. As he rightly points out in the review, series 7 was, for the most part, pretty damn poor. Better to bow out gracefully with one last great episode than drag the show out until it dies.

Plus, they wanted to start the movie right away. They should have waited awhile though, IMO.

the women are mighty fine.
They look like Phyllis Diller,
and walk like Frankenstein.

The entirety of TNG:7 was for the most part...mediocre. Until those last two episodes. Sure the whole temporal theme maybe somewhat farfetched, but who cares? Drama, suspense, phenominally good acting on virtually every character's part and at the end of the first two parter, unbelievable wish to see the next one. A fitting, dramatic and in the end classic star trek finale.

Am I the only one that doesn't find these that funny? Not to get snarky...
Don't you hear my call, though you're many years away, don't you hear me calling you?

I agree. Some of them can get downright insulting and even make you wonder if he's just being a jackoff for the sake of being a jackoff.
I have a feeling he'd snark over the graveyard scene from BOBW II.

To be fair, he's as forthcoming with praise where it's deserved as he is with scorn.

Aye, he doesn't just attack something for the sake of it.

I rather enjoy him taking Trek to task for it's crap, to many fans give it a free pass because it was progressive in the 60's. I also enjoy the fact that he praises the good bits.RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote:I agree. I'm interested to see what he says about NEM and INS.

As am I. I recognize the faults in both movies, but I still like them. Even TFF has it's merits, as terrible as it is.Cpl Kendall wrote:...I'm interested to see what he says about NEM and INS.
