IMAX
Last Saturday after bribing the house commander with a nice dinner and a few drinks she agreed to go see Star Trek in IMAX. She actually liked it and got her woman cry in during the Kelvin scene.
All I gotta say is that if I ever enter the Powerball Lottery and win it I'm gonna have one of those theaters built in my new castle!

Snap
Went to see it in an IMAX with the wife (who is a bit of a trekkie) who had a tear during the Kelvin scene. Glad I paid a few bob extra to see it like that.

Indeed*. IMAX at the Franklin Institute after walking through the Star Trek the Experience Exhibition. I actually have a picture of my dad and I on a full scale 1:1 replica of the E-D bridge.Tsukiyumi wrote:It was, in fact.dagadget wrote:Now watching it in Imax had to be spectacular...
Can a day get any better?
*My only complaint is that in IMAX the lens flairs were literally blinding.

Very true... At least my favorite fishing and camping spot in the Bighorn Mountains is only 40 miles away! Gonna spend the next two days up there...Nickswitz wrote:Well, aren't the in-laws like your regular family...
