Destiny Trilogy

Post by Bryan Moore »

Has anyone read these? Go figure they're the 3 recent ones I haven't read, but clearly they're pretty important as the new Titan book makes reference to the events. How were they?

Great. All 3 would definately be in my top 10 books. Very epic and satisfying.

the women are mighty fine.
They look like Phyllis Diller,
and walk like Frankenstein.

Let's see...........The Borg invade the Federation and Klingons, no longer bent on assimilation but on extermination. Then you have a flashback which explains the discovery of the broken hulk of the NX-02 USS Columbia. Then alot of backstory expalining what happened to Captain Hernendez and the crew until the present, where the "origins" of the Borg are discovered.

Hows that?

Sounds ok. Not sure I like the idea of the Borg invasion as it means either the UFP is crushed or they have to Janeway their way out of it.

I'd say the "solution" is somewhere between the two. You really should give them a chance. I highly doubt you'll regret it.

I'll check them out next time I pick up a book. Such high praise wouldn't come lightly.

B'elanna and Miral are confirmed dead in A Singular Destiny in casualty report 92792382 Baker. Tom Paris' father also dies in Gods of Night when the Borg attack Starbase 234.
There is not a problem in this world that can't be solved without the proper application of a sufficient number of thermonuclear ordnance.

*Rechecks casualty list and swears a blue streak*

One thing I'll say for the book. The invasion's not 'brushed aside' like the Vong Incursions were in SW. There are real, deep consequences here that reverberate.

Just finished book three and all I can say is, wow. I SOOOOO didn't see that coming from book one. Man, I LOVED Geordi standing up to Picard and saying "I'm not saying I can't do it. I'm saying I won't."
