Universe : Prime Timeline
Class Name : Amargosa Observatory [1]

Notes

A Federation outpost which was studying the Amargosa star in 2371. Dr. Soren used the station as a base for his attempts to destroy the star so as to alter the course of the Nexus and bring it close to the Veridian system. The Observatory was attacked by a Romulan ship looking for trilithium which Soren had stolen from them; the Enterprise-D responded and rescued Soren. The Observatory was destroyed by a level 12 shockwave produced when Soren destroyed the star. [2]
