The Enterprise-D hosts Sirna Kolrami, who is to act as a referee for a battle exercise between the Starship and an old Constellation class vessel, the USS Hathaway. The exercise is interrupted when a Ferengi warship intervenes. Lieutenant Commander Data undergoes a crisis of confidence when Kolrami defeats him in a game of Strategema. [1]
