Humanoid civilization native to the the Delta Quadrant. The Borg destroyed or assimilated most of the Caatati; only a few thousand people survived in 27 refugee ships. Conditions aboard these ships were poor, with food and energy shortages a constant threat. The Caatati took to begging others for supplies, and even on occasion to stealing what they needed. [1]
