Notes

The Sh'Raan class was a Vulcan vessel in use during the mid 22nd century. It was a cruiser, very similar in design to the Suurok class but larger and more heavily armed. With a top speed of Warp 7 it was extremely fast by the standards of the day. [3]

The Sh'Raan has the typical Vulcan ring nacelle and axial hull. [1] The Vulcans contributed Sh'Raan class ships to the fleet which tracked down the Romulan drone ships which had been terrorising various species around Romulan space in 2154. [3]

Seen in the Enterprise episode "Fallen Hero", the Sh'Raan is very similar to the Suurok - so similar, in fact, that at first glance the two look almost identical. But there are a few differences in the design - most notably the axial hull seems far longer in relation to the ring nacelle on the Sh'Raan than on the Suurok, as you can easily see if you compare the image pages for the two ships. The Sh'Raan also appears to be much, much larger than the Suurok. In fact, the Sh'Raan is almost unfeasibly large - the shot of it next to Enterprise gives us a length of some 600 metres, which puts it in the same sort of ballpark as the Galaxy class!

Another factor pushing for separate class stats for the Sh'raan is its top speed. The Suurok was described in "Breaking the Ice" as having a top speed of Warp 6.5, but T'Pol claims that the Sh'raan is capable of Warp 7. While it's possible that the Vulcans were a little reticent about their ship's true capabilities, I generally take statements like this at face unless there is a compelling reason to do otherwise.

The Sh'raan is far more powerful than Enterprise; Enterprise itself was apparently considerably outclassed by the three Mazarite ships pursuing her, but the Sh'raan was enough of a threat that the Mizarians didn't even contemplate forcing a fight. Although to be fair, it is possible that the Mizarian ships were not so much directly intimidated by the Sh'Raan itself as by the thought of Vulcan reprisals if they did succeed in an attack.

We do not have a canonical class name for this class, so my usual practice of using the name of the first ship seen stands until something more official comes along.
