Notes

The Constitution III class, sometimes referred to as the neo-Constitution class, starship follows the standard layout for Federation starships. A saucer section joined by a neck onto an engineering hull with pylons to the nacelles which once again sit above the engineering hull on each side. The class has at least three shuttle bays with the main, shuttle bay 3, being at the rear end of the engineering hull. [1]

The ship is equipped with standard shields as well as the new metaphysic shielding. It is also armed with both photon torpedos and phasers. [3]

Once again following the traditional Constitution design pattern, the bridge is located on deck 1 with the Captains chair in the middle and pilot and navigator to the front. Various other stations are situated around the circumference of the bridge. [1] There is also a large escape hatch situated behind the main view screen, which opens directly onto space. [4] There is also a battle bridge. [5]

There are a pair of conference rooms located at the rear to he bridge. The starboard side is a smaller room and is frequently used by the senior officers for planning meetings. [6] A larger room exists on the port side of the ship. typically used for larger groups or meetings with external groups. [7]

The officers' mess is located on Deck 2. The Captain's quarters are located on Deck 3. A brig facility with at least three cells are located on Deck 12. [6]
