Ancient Time Portal

NotesImages
Universe : Prime Timeline
Name : Ancient Time Portal [1]

An ancient time portal was discovered on the planet Kralmath-B in 2259 by an Orion science vessel. It was also discovered by the USS Enterprise at much the same time. Captain Pike agreed to allow the Orion's to claim the discovery in exchange for some horonium, which is required to activate the portal and return Brad Boimler to his own time. [1]

Boimler eventually explained that they should have some horonium on board as it was used in the construction of the original Enterprise NX-01. As it was Starfleet tradition to include a piece of the hull of past vessels with the same name in new ships it should logically be somewhere on the ship. Spock was able to check the records and discovered the required part, enabling Brad Boimler and Beckett Mariner to be returned to their own time. [1]
