Paricle containment pod

NotesImages
Universe : Prime Timeline
Name : Paricle containment pod [1]

A large pod which is able to store volatile and potentially dangerous particles safely while it is examined. Materials are abel to be beamed into an out of the pod easing the use greatly. One such pod was used to house a sample of the subspace fold while the crew looked for way of collapsing the it. Nothing was found so the same was beamed back to its source. [1] Later such pods were replaced by forcefields, which on occasion lead to escape of material. [2]
