Earth sport involving two individuals with rackets on opposite sides of a net. The aim is to hit the ball in such a way the the opposing player is unable to return it to your side. Hitting the ball too hard, however, will cause an issue as it is required to land in the opposing court to not be deemed out.

Beverly Crusher was a keen tennis player during her time on the USS Enterprise-D. She even had her own racket. [1]
