Coppelius, the fourth planet [1] in the Ghulion system, located in the Vayt sector of the Beta Quadrant. [2] Doctor Altan Inigo Soong settled the planet in the late 2380s and was joined by Dr Bruce Maddox. They used it as a base to continue their work in creating androids, which had been banned in the Federation. [1] The planet had two red moons and constant electrical storm activity. [3]
