Planets List
Universe : Prime Timeline
Name : Nepenthe [1]

Planet in the beta quadrant, known for its regenerative properties. Native species include the Bunnicorn and various birds and insects. William Riker and Deanna Troi settled on the planet in xxxx, hoping that the planet's special nature would be able to save the life of their son Thad, who had developed Mandaxic Neurosclerosis. Unfortunately this didn't work and Thad passed away. Troi and Riker remained on the planet with their daugher Kestra. The planet had a weekly passenger service, which operated from Infinity Lake Spaceport, however, independently operated ships were a rare sight. [1]

In 2399, The Artifact, a disabled Borg Cube operated by the Romulans, was located less than 40,000 light years from the planet. Hugh used assimilated trajector technology on The Artifact to transport Picard and Soji to the planet, where they met with Will and Deanna. [2] In 2399, the planet suffered many attacks by the Kzinti causing the Troi-Rikers to install an extensive security system including shields and perimeter scanners. [1]
