Odo receives a sick infant Changeling from Quark and attempts to teach it to shapeshift, The infant ultimately dies, but Odo is able to absorb it into his body, restoring his shapeshifting abilities. Meanwhile, Major Kira gives birth to the O'Briens' baby. [7]
