The Enterprise responds to a distress call from a disabled Talarian vessel. Amongst the crew they find Jono, a human boy. DNA analysis reveals him to be Jeremiah Rossa, a child abducted from a human colony in 2353 after a Talarian attack. Captain Picard eventually returns Jono to his adopted father, Endar. [1]
