Renée Picard is a human female and an ancester of Jean-Luc Picard. She was a doctor and specialist on the Europa mission. Although, often plagued with doubts about her abilities, she would eventually learn to live with the problem. [2]During the mission she would discover a micro-organism on Io and was able to convince the mission commander into bringing it back to Earth. It would eventually allow Earth to reverse global warming and save the planet. [3]
