Earth's most famous woman pilot during the 20th century, Earhart broke countless records in the early days of flight on the planet. She vanished mysteriously in 1937; in 2371 it was found that she and her assistant Fren Noonan had been abducted by aliens and transported to the Delta Quadrant. Captain Janeway woke Earhart and offered to take her as a crewmember on Voyager, but instead she chose to remain on the planet with the descendants of the other abductees. [1]
