A Vulcan female, T'Nel was the older sister of T'Prynne. She bore a striking physical resemblance to her sister, although the details differed; T'Nel had much darker eye colouration and wore a different hairstyle. [1]

As a child, T'Nel and her sister lived in the village of Kren’than where she mentored under Healer Sobon. She eventually became a healer herself, moving by 2266 to live in the village of Ha’tren, several kilometers away. T'Nel was present when Healer Sobon treated T'Prynne at the village in that year. [1]
