A member of a revered Klingon house, the Lady Grilka was threatened with ruin when an enemy attempted to use financial maneuvering to bankrupt her family. When the head of the house was killed by Quark, Grilka married the Ferengi to keep control of the family. She eventually convinced Gowron to allow her to head the house herself, and promptly divordced Quark. [2] Despite this, the two later became romantically involved with a little help from Worf. [3]
