[2] Jack proposed to Beverly by sending her a book entitled 'How to Advance Your Career Through Marriage'. [3] He was killed in the line of duty in 2354 whilst under Picard's command. [4] Jack recorded a holographic message to Wesley when he was a newborn baby; it was his intent to record many more such messages, but he died before this could be done. [3]
