A Starfleet officer, Atoa was proud of his Maori heritage and enjoyed doing traditional tribal dances with flaming torches. He was a popular attraction at parties, especially with the ladies. He performed at Dax's bachelorette party on Deep Space Nine, much to Sirella's displeasure. [1]
