In 2401 Raffi got back in contact with Jae when her work for Starfleet intelligence lead her to attempt to contact one of his underworld contacts, a Ferengi crime lord called Sneed. Believing that this was another of her conspiracy theories he gave her a stark choice. He would help her get back in touch with her estranged son, or he would put her in contact with Sneed. She choose to see Sneed. [3]
