A member of Shran's crew, Talas was a highly competent soldier. She assisted Reed with getting the NX-01's weapons systems back online in 2154. She secretly attempted to sabotage the ship in order to facilitate Shran's orders to recover the Xindi prototype weapon, but this was unsuccessful. [1] Talas began a romantic relationship with Shran somtime prior to late 2154 - he later claimed that her initial advance was so intense that he had to either charge her with assault or mate with her. She was aboard Shran's ship when it was destroyed, apparently by a Tellarite vessel. She survived to be rescued by the NX-01. Talas assisted Shran in his efforts to punish the Tellarite delegates the ship was carrying at the time. She was shot and injured during the attempt [2], and died of her injuries shortly afterwards.
