Gorath [1] was a Klingon warrior who served as a helmsman aboard the warship Hegh'ta during the Klingon civil war in 2368. During battle Kurn ordered him to fly Hegh'ta into the corona of a star. Although hesitant he obeyed, and luring the Duras forces in after him. When the Hegh'ta went to warp it caused a solar eruption which destroyed the attacking ships. [2]
