Lieutenant Va'Al Trask was a male Andorran who served in Starfleet special forces during the Federation - Klingon war. He was based on J'Gal. Some time the the past he had suffered a major head injury which left him blind in one eye and with a prominent facial scar from his eye to the mouth. [1]
Trask had tried to recruit Doctor M'Benga to his team due to his reputation as "The Ghost". He wanted him to assassinate General Dak'Rah, leader of the Klingon forces on the moon. M'Benga refused his request and others for use of a drug called Protocol 12, which was a potent physical stimulant speeding up Human reflexes and strength to almost super human levels. [1]
Trask attempted to complete the mission without M'Benga help. but ultimately failed to achieve his mission but also got his entire team killed in the process. [1]
