Zacarias "Zac" Nguyen was a male Human enlisted Federation officer who served aboard the USS Enterprise in 2254. On 2498.4 he was part of a landing party that visited Rigel VII and during an incident was reported as a casualty of an attack my the native Talar people. [1]
In 2259 the USS Enterprise returned to he system and discovered that Zac had survived the attack and had used his advanced knowledge to take control of the planet and install himself as King of the Talar in violation of the Prime Directive. He armed his palace guard with phaser rifles. [1]
Pike was eventually able to overcome Nguyen take him prisoner aboard the USS Enterprise. Nguyen was eventually transferred to the USS Cayuga for court marshal. [1]
