Javas was a female Human Starfleet officer with a rank of Fleet Admiral and was the Judge Advocate General in 2258. She chaired the court marshal of Una Chin-Riley and ultimately absolved her of all charges, based on her lawyer's argument that she had sought asylum from anti-genetic engineering persecution. [1]
